Why this piece is awesome: It's a really detailed rendition of a self-portrait Frank tweeted about a few weeks ago (ftr, that was his exact facial expression in the photo.) The artist had a really delicate hand when it came to defining Frank's eyebrows and loopy 'stache. I tend to giggle a lot whenever I look at this piece.

Why this piece is awesome: This is such a cool and atmospheric work. Compared to what you usually see in fanart it's a very different take on the Sixth Doctor.
The difference in light and colour between the almost luminous Doctor in the foreground and the dark sky and looming shadows of the Time Lords in the background gives it a brooding, almost haunted feeling. And the way the round shapes of the Time Lords' collars seem to be multiplying and trying to swallow up the elongated lines of the Doctor's coat adds to the tension in the work.

This piece is a neat take on the winged visitors as well as on Gerard himself. Cup of coffee in hand, he's at peace. The cuteness is almost overwhelming. It plays with the canon while giving it a very whimsical vibe.
