Why this piece is awesome: These two images depict Holly and Artemis's moment of realization about the spoilery thing that happened to their eyes in The Lost Colony. The second is a more detailed digital painting of one part of the first image. It's a nice illustration for the scene in the books, and I like the stylistic contrast between the two images as well -- one is somewhat animation-styled while the other is more painted-looking.
