Why this piece is awesome:Since Yuri on Ice is an anime, a lot of the artwork falls into that style. While I do enjoy it, for this month I'm going to try and rec mostly art that does something a little different with the subject, though expect my usual chibis in there somewhere. Starting this month with this piece. I love Leyendecker's work and this piece is a treat! The artist captures the style, tone and pallet of Leyendecker while still putting their own spin on it. I have to say something about Viktor's look makes him ideally suited for a Leyendecker(aka Arrow)man.
