Why this piece is awesome: ... and one more Clara scene from Veradune, a full painting this time. It depicts a moment from "Deep Breath" and I'll quote the artist's own words: "a scene that I think nicely summarizes Clara’s complete unwillingness to back down even when she’s terrified and in over her head. Clara talking circles around a blowtorch wielding cyborg was my first major impression of her and I pretty much loved her from the start." I really like all the details: Clara's dress, her tears, the cyborg's face... Bonus points for Twelve in disguise in the background.
