Hi, I'm reccing Dresden Files for July! I recced this fandom here before in *pause for faint boggling* 2010, and let me just say that the amount of great fanart that's come out since then blows my mind.

Why this piece is awesome: Let's start off with this absolutely stunning image of Harry and Thomas fighting back to back! This is an absolutely striking scene in every way, from the likenesses to the action pose, to the details of Harry's staff and Thomas's gun and kukri, to the incredible background. The characters look astonishingly as I picture them; the artist really nails Harry's rough-around-the-edges scruffiness and Thomas's bishounen-esque good looks.

I also highly recommend visiting the artist's gallery! They have a ton of amazing Dresden Files fanart, and it was very hard to pick a piece to feature; there's also a kickass Murphy, a really great Molly, a fantastic Butters, and several great Harry action scenes, among others. They've also done quite a lot of beautiful Dresden Files art that isn't up at the Deviantart gallery, including this amazing Thomas image that couldn't be more perfectly what he looks like in my head.

Why this piece is awesome: I love the angle from below, Silver's very slight smile and the dramatic shadows on his face, Nidoking doing its best to back Silver up on the menacing! I also enjoy that even though you can't see Ethan's face, you can probably guess what it looks like.
