Why this piece is awesome: This is a great, realistic-style illustration of the fight with the ghouls on the Water Beetle in "White Night". One of the things I love about this piece is how solid and real the characters look; as well as being marvelously detailed, they look like real people rather than Hollywood people -- Harry's more dork than action hero (very consistent with how he describes himself in the books), and Elaine is slim and boyish. I really like this interpretation of the characters.
