Why this piece is awesome: I accidentally stumbled on this, lost it and then happily found it again. This piece cause quite a stir in the H/D fandom, so much so that it became known as 'That Picture', so much so that when people realized that despite the caption, there was no fic that went with the picture, a whole fest sprang up, dedicated to correcting that. Look at it, and you can see why. It's a stunning work. Beautifully drawn,with a terrific use of light and shadow to create detail, it's also sensual and intense

I had actually never seen this before.

I genuinely just stumbled on it as a reblog in someone's tumblr. I remember thinking I needed to do HP so I could rec it, then I lost it because I don't even have a tumblr account and was probably looking at hockey or Leverage or something. Which is the same way I found it again, at the perfect moment, when I had signed up for HP this month. The first time I found it, there hadn't been the fic fest, so that was a bonus.
