Why this piece is awesome: Because, like the artist said, Ray Toro deffo deserves more fanart, LOL!
One of the things I like about this piece is how kinetic it feels. This is Ray at his happiest: mid-playing his guitar onstage. Another thing I think is cool is how the artist depicted a stage light right behind Ray. Perhaps the artist wanted us to enjoy Ray's curls. Finally, although the majority of the palette come from a darker hue, there is a palpable vibrancy to both the subject (Ray) and the overall mood.
