Why this piece is awesome: One, it's part of a set of Tiger & Bunny tarot cards. Tiger & Bunny tarot cards. Two, it's got a lovely muted palette and fantastic composition (I'm all about the composition, have you noticed?). I love the flat colors (which don't always work for me) and the cherry blossoms and the way the artist draws hands. I'm not sure I buy Ivan as The Hermit (not that I know much about Tarot), but it's gorgeous all the same.
The artist has a couple other cards up (none of the girls, alas. I'm looking forward to them), be sure to check them out!
