If you would like to volunteer for fanart reccing (please do!), just comment here with the name of the fandom you want to rec as well the month if you can't just take the next free slot. If you volunteer to rec fanart for a fandom, you agree to post at least four fanart recs during your month.
Once you commented to volunteer, a moderator will reply to confirm, and add you to the list of fandoms and volunteers that is also kept here to keep track, so everyone can see which fandoms have volunteers, and which don't.
You also have to join the community so that you can get posting access during your month. For information on how to format your recs, please take a look at the Intro Post, which has a convenient template.
ETA (Jul. 2017): I've cleaned up the list and removed the pre-2017 entries for more clarity, but left the fandoms that previously had reccers as subsection titles. Of course all fandoms are options for rec sets, not just those already listed.

Why this piece is awesome: Starting my month of "The Hour" recs with a series of fabulous backstory drawings for Lix and Randall. The artist's style is simply amazing and in just three drawings, we get three key moments of their relationship back then, all of them incredibly atmospheric.
First one, 1935: Lix and Randall as young journalists, all professional and sharp, all in serious grey tones.
Second one, 1940: The two of them in bed together, Lix watching him sleep. The drawing only shows us their backs and a panorama of their room, all done in a wonderful range of warm red tones. Highlight: the orange sunlight falling on them through the blinds.
Third one, 1945: Lix alone in Europe, after the war. This looks like a series of old photographs/polaroids and I love that Lix is either a silhouette in front of ruins, or has half of her face in the shadows. The symbolism here is absolutely spot-on.

Third one, 1945: Lix alone in Europe, after the war. This looks like a series of old photographs/polaroids and I love that Lix is either a silhouette in front of ruins, or has half of her face in the shadows. The symbolism here is absolutely spot-on.
