I love the little details in this piece, and the red tone helps give it a older more old fashion kind of feel, like this is Sai back in the past, in comparison to the brightness of the series.

Why this piece is awesome: The insei arc is one of my favourite arcs, and this piece captures the really fun part of that arc with the growing friendship between Hikaru, Isumi and Waya really well.

Not only that, but I love the colouring which adds to a really light and happy feel to the piece.

I love the eyes in this picture, they were drawn really lovely and deep. It's an attempt to push a unpopular character in  the right direction with his appearance, as he grows up a little from how we see him in series.
