Why this piece is awesome: Wonderful art full of action as a Kaiju and Jaeger clash on the coastline. I love the coloring which is so vibrant as the Jaeger using a canon blaster on the Kaiju. I love the attention to detail on the Kaiju, with the blue markings and multiple sets of eyes.

Why this piece is awesome: I warned you we'd be returning to the giant lizardy things at some point in this fandom, so here we are, almost at month's end and starting some Kaiju pics. Not exactly giant lizards as Kaiju are more alien than that, but monsters, anyway. I love the dramatic composition in this one, the weird and somehow threatening colour scheme, and the detailing of the sea in particular. Click to enlarge, for the full effect.

Why this piece is awesome: I'm reccing Pacific Rim this month as a way of easing myself off the giant lizards.
