Why this piece is awesome: I can't resist another work by

tealin. In this, Douglas and Martin are flying endlessly into the sunset, and they're bored, bored, bored. What I most love here is the way the light of the sunset is captured and reflects off them both, and from the cockpit glass. Lovely. The title refers to the esisode this illustrates.

Why this piece is awesome: Because, otter! There's a CP episode that features otters and contains speculation about how many otters can fit on a plane - that's led to art as well. The notion of Martin as an otter captain is not part of canon, but it is delightful. And of course with his usual existential angst. Enlarge it for maximum otterness.

Why this piece is awesome: Remember I said that in Cabin Pressure Martin's shorter and with reddish hair? So here's one of a number of crossovers that have been drawn or written, with BBC Sherlock. I like the style of this comic, and they both look exactly right to me and are very in character. Poor Martin, why won't anyone believe he's the captain?

Why this piece is awesome: Because it's Arthur, so massively excited about Christmas he's almost exploding. Hilarious, and the details are gorgeous, like the way the reindeer on his jersey's grinning too, and the fairy lights on his hat, and his slippers. I also love Tealin's note.

Why this piece is awesome: Because Cabin Pressure! A radio triumph - hilarious and touching and recently wrapped up with a perfect ending, much to the fandom's delight. So this month, I'm reccing Cabin Pressure pics. This one's an introduction to the core cast - a painting of the MJN crew by namecchan. Yes, it's a rendition of a well-known photo, but it's not a paint-over (see the WIPs) and the end result's very accomplished, with perfect likenesses. Of course, in canon, Martin, unlike BC himself, is shorter and has reddish hair - as we'll see in later recs.
