Why this piece is awesome:I like the muted colours and the quirkiness. The likenesses aren't perfect but that just adds to the charm. And I like the 'slice of life' aspect, with them sitting close together on a bench in the city.

Why this piece is awesome: My two favourite pieces from a series of ten Reese/Finch drawings. Number V: I love everything about this - the dishevelled clothes after a long day of work, John with closed eyes and bared throat in Harold's lap, how possessively Harold is holding him. Number IX: John especially is fascinating in this, thoughtful and awake while Harold is sleeping. And I love that Marionees always remembers that he must have lots of scars on his body.

Why this piece is awesome: What it says on the tin! A Shaw portrait, surrounded by things she likes, that describe her, or are associated with her on the show. Love that it includes the show's arrow image for her, plus the focus on her tattoo, which I never paid much attention to while watching. Why this piece is awesome: How do you depict two AIs in battle? With a lot of creativity and symbolism, which this striking piece delivers in spades. (Very interesting to read the artist's notes, too.) Samaritan's cold and youthful strength vs. a completely fascinating avatar of the Machine - all black, veiled, glitchy. The broken chains! (A hint of multiple faces?) And then the background, which evokes the cyberspace setting of the battle without being clichéd. Amazing work. (I actually downloaded the picture so I could zoom in - it's quite small on AO3.)

Why this piece is awesome: The artist did review/reaction sketches for many episodes of the show (to find at their Deviantart POI gallery), which were always lots of fun and distinctive in style. Why this piece is awesome: A promo poster inspired by Hitchcock movie posters, which is fitting for the show. It was originally done at the end of season two and when Samaritan hijacked the show's opening credits in season four, Beruna Girl did a complementary version of the original. I love the whole design - the colours, the city silhouette, the abstraction, and especially the way Reese and Finch are drawn.
