For the last day of the month, I have 3 recs for you, all of which are pieces focusing on Emma and all show our beloved titular character in the artist's own unique style!

Why this piece is awesome: This first piece is in a slightly cartoon-ish, almost caricature-like style and I find it to be incredibly charming. I love how the artist's exaggerated Emma's eyes and blush. You can tell that the piece has a bit of texture to it, especially on the dress, and if you keep going to the last slide, you can see the texture in more detail and it's great. I especially like the effect it has on Emma's curls (which I also love) and face. I also really love the shade of yellow/gold chosen.

Why this piece is awesome: This second piece is also cartoon-ish in a way but not in the way the above piece is. This piece looks like what I imagine an animated film of Emma might look like. I don't believe I've ever come across a piece of fanart for a Jane Austen novel in such a style before and I really like it. The piece is crisp and clear but also manages to have a bit of softness to due to Emma's veil. Speaking of the veil, that's one of my favorite aspects of this piece. I'm always amazed when artists are able to add depth to pieces by adding folds to the fabric and I love how the artist has done so here. The little details are wonderful as well, be sure to look at all of the slides in order to see a close up of the flower and Emma's curls. And of course the colors are lovely as well.

Why this piece is awesome: Lastly we have a gorgeous screencap painting of the scene where Emma is posing Harriet. The focus is on Emma, though we do see the back of Harriet, and Emma's expressive eyes immediately draw you in. I love how though the piece is clearly copying Anya Taylor-Joy features, the Emma painted doesn't look like her exactly and has a bit of the artist own style and interpretation mixed in. My second other favorite thing about this piece is the magnificent colors and the contrast between Emma and Harriet. Emma's completely soft and airy with lovely gauzy fabrics and lighter, more pastel-ish colors whereas Harriet is her complete opposite with her bolder color scheme.
