Why this piece is awesome: The art nouveau style is perfect; the amount of detail and thought put into the dresses is breathtaking. You could get lost staring at just one of the patterns. The artist's description even talks about the materials and the type of sewing involved, in case anyone ever wants to cosplay them -- I can't imagine how much work it would take to make one of these outfits, but the result would be stunning.

Why this piece is awesome: The idea that Mérida from Brave is the daughter of Clint Barton and Natasha Romanov was a hot tumblr meme for a bit this summer. (Redhead. Shoots a bow and arrow. I didn't say it was a complicated meme.) While I'm not always into the "Clint and Natasha stay home and raise kids" thing (yes, another meme), I love this for the way the poses and faces impart that comfortable moment in time.

Why this piece is awesome: The coloring and the expressions exemplify the morbid beauty of the gothic romance genre. Knowing this artist this is also most likely some Disneyland Tokyo exclusive costumes for the couple, which would also mean the dedication to Mickey and Co is definitely present.
