Why this piece is awesome: A quick final Wash portrait for August - this is created with a very skilled use of copics, and I like the almost but not quite monochromatic colour scheme - it adds a nice subtlety. Also a great portrait of Wash, complete with dinosaur! The artist's done quite a few of these interesting near-monochrome portraits.

Why this piece is awesome: Another series of Firefly pics, and this time I'm focusing on Wash and Zoe Washburn, my favourite couple. This is a great portrait of Wash fooling with the dinosaurs, all lit up and perky, with Firefly in the background. Very nice work.

Why this piece is awesome: I did a Firefly rewatch recently and fell in love with the show again. This is a great Jayne Cobb portrait with all the details - orange hat! Vera! (the gun), 'The Hero of Canton' (The Man They Call Jayne). Excellent colours and I like the style. Enlarge it for the full effect.
