Why this piece is awesome: This is my second Helvetica rec, because she is indeed just that awesome. This gorgeous, emotional drawing shows Blair hugging Jim from behind. It's beautifully executed, and is possibly one of my most favourite of Helvetica's works.

Why this piece is awesome: K9 has done some lovely pieces of work, mainly as zine illustrations. This plays off the idea of Blair as shaman, or white witch in this case to originally illustrate Dolimir's story Something Wicked This Way Comes. It has gorgeous, bare chested Blair in swirling draperies, his hands lifted in blessing or spell-casting. It's a fun AU depiction.

Why this piece is awesome: Lorraine's a talented and well-known artist with work in several fandoms. In this picture, both characters stare directly, confrontationally even, at the viewer. The colours used are full of contrast. This painting references the concept of sentinels and guides being known and a specific sort of relationship, a fanon which is now multi-fandom.
