Why this piece is awesome: The details are what really make this piece for me. Neil's happy expression, how tired Andrew looks, their interlaced fingers, Neil's hand on Andrew's leg, Neil's scars, the folds in the fabrics of their clothes, the dips in the seat from their feet, the light shining through the window. All of it adds up to make this incredibly beautiful picture. The sun shining through the window combined with the orange and brown shades used give the piece a warm feeling as well.

Why this piece is awesome: I love these pieces mainly because of the beautiful coloring and shading work. The pastels work so well with the "soft' moments depicted. The expressions on Andrew's face are so in character and wonderfully drawn too.
