Why this piece is awesome: This is a dark piece in terms of color, showing a near-silhouette of Lexa but with her eyes lit up. There's a real sense of menace and threat to the piece that encapsulates the threat the character embodies with her position as commander of a fierce army. I really like the tone it carries.

Why this piece is awesome: I love the lighting and colouring of this work. The way most of him is in shadow, only his neck and hair glowing in the light from behind. The stark contrast between the deep blue of the background and the bright red of his hair.
