Why this piece is awesome: This is a beautifully-executed and thought-provoking piece that depicts the Trio and Neville as modern day soldiers, catching a quiet moment away from the fighting. What I find most interesting about this piece is how the AU context changes my perception of DH, and my moral evaluation of the characters and events. Artistically, though, I love the colouring, textures, the piercing eyes on all four characters, and the depiction of Ron.
