Why this piece is awesome: It's rare to have a quiet moment inbetween all the action, even rarer when it's two arch enemies peacefully playing chess (peaceful aside from Orko's angry glare, that is). I like He-Man's pensive look and Skeletor's careful movements (his chair is further away from the table, too) - respectful, but not fully at ease. The detailed furniture and warm earth tones of the foreground contrast with the misty, half-formed background, making the scene look like a dream or out of time, which in turn encourages the viewer to come up with their own explanations and backgrounds for this scenario. What if...?
