Why this piece is awesome: This painting is set in the future, and I like the emotion here, how they look at each other kind of fondly, yet with Arthur in armor and Merlin in robes it still shows that they stand together in battle. Or maybe a battle was just won, in any case this painting suggests an intriguing story and I like that.
