Why this piece is awesome: An atmospheric, painterly alien worldscape made entirely in Photoshop. I like the range of brightness from deep shadow to ethereal glow, the iconic-to-SG-1 conifers and pyramid rendered in silhouette against the stardusty sky, the visual echo of the humanoid silhouetted against the wormhole's light, the mysterious auroral light coming from beyond the hills, and the blend of the familiar and the wonderfully strange.
