Why this piece is awesome: You'll see - this art is just brilliantly done, putting Bodie and Doyle into an "Age of Sail" AU setting. She's used digital blending and painterly effects and the end result is really amazing - it looks almost like a series of real oil or gouache paintings. There are several illustrations here done for The Professionals Big Bang 2011, illustrating the fic The True Confessions of Raymond Doyle bytears_of_nienna.
