Why this piece is awesome: A series of four pieces marking Wei Wuxian's 15th, 21st, 30th, and 39th birthdays. Each image could stand well on its own, but I love the story they tell when viewed as a set. The gorgeous coloring gives each piece a distinctive mood, from the hazy pastel glow of nostalgia at Lotus Pier to the cold austerity of Wangji's grief. I love how the final image feels crisp and clear and immediate in contrast with the others.
