Why this piece is awesome: Ronon's trajectory as a character on the show, from being so alone and lonely to becoming a part of Atlantis, is one that I love--but I always still feel that Ronon has a deep solitary streak in him. This piece captures that beautifully, I think. I love the way the landscape and clouds are have a sketchy, watercolor feel to them, while the details of Ronon and his pony are so fine and distinct.
