Why this piece is awesome: I'm reccing Pacific Rim this month as a way of easing myself off the giant lizards. Not that there aren't giant monster lizardy things in PR, and we'll certainly get back to them, but I'll be featuring art of actual people as well. Starting with this very accomplished drawing of a contemplative yet alert Dr Newton Geiszler. Lovely likeness and shading.
