Why this piece is awesome: Sometimes in more realistic art the characters look very much like their movie counterparts. And while there's nothing wrong with I love to see artists show us their own version of the characters. I really love this Hermione, especially her hair (even though it isn't that bushy).

I really like the emotional feel of this picture, I can see her sadness and her anger. The muted color palette suits the mood very well, and I love the contrast between her face and the surroundings.

I adore o_k_go! She really does follow her own path. Sometimes her vision of these characters is startling, but they're always arresting.
I new without clicking exactly which pic this was. Emma Watson just doesn't match canon Hermione.

And yes, Emma Watson never really clicked for me as Hermione either.
