Why this piece is awesome: It's a lovely and very well done portrait of Spock, with great use of shading and colors. I like the Vulcan script (his name), and the blues and greens that highlight his hair and suggest his green blood - enlarge it to see it best. The artist's other works are well worth a look as well. (also - in the DA gallery, the artist's Mr. Spock cosplay is incredibly cute! And there's a folder called "in progress" which has WIP shots of the Spock portrait - always interesting and for me, mind-bogglingly impressive.)
