Why this piece is awesome: Oh my God, I am so glad this piece was finally posted! This is hands down the best art to come out of the i_reversebang challenge, and that is saying something, considering the level of greatness of that fest as a whole.
The concept of this piece is cracktastic, the execution is flawless. The difference in pixelation between the characters and the environment just works AND OMG THE CHARACTERS. Saito and Yusuf are gleefully badass, Eames wins at everything and Arthur, ARTHUR WHAT ARE YOU DOING? :D

You have to respect a fandom that can canonically send their characters into Super Mario, and this art deserves not only your respect, but your eternal admiration.
