Why this piece is awesome: The composition and lighting in this piece is great. The cloud is so gorgeous I can't even tell if it's totally painted or rendered or even an altered photo. The coloring and shading is likewise very pretty and crisp--neither flat nor a simple gradient that is so common with anime fanart. These are two of the recurring characters shown as adults (and Anbu Black Ops for the village with an awesome costume style redesign) and their personalities really show through.
