If you decide to include a warning in your rec, the warning should indicate what the possibly upsetting content is without somebody having to look at the picture. "Possibly a warning for what's in the bag?" doesn't actually tell anything.

The warning in this case should be something like "blood/gore" or if you want to indicate that's not photo realistic maybe "stylized blood/gore" or something along those lines.

I never heard of that website.

If you are mentioning it because its demise will lead to linkrot in some of your previous recs, in this comm old recs are just left as is. I mean if a reccer knows a new URL and wants to update their recs they can, but it's not required.

Virink.com is a Russian site, which makes me wish to read Russian. Lots of wondrous stuff there.

Just like going on pixiv, poipiku, twitter and tumblr makes me yearn to read Japanese and Korean.

Thanks for the info re linkrot - by coincidence, the first Penguins of Madagascar rec I made succumbed to it. I don't know of another way to access the artist's work except by googling the name to get random examples. Another POM rec will fall out on August 1 because it is on virink.

Heh, I'm actually learning Russian. Nowhere near fluent yet, but after about five years of (not very intensive) study, I am at that intermediate level, where you can somewhat understand stuff.
