Why this piece is awesome: For those who don't know, Obsidian Serpent's work is delicate and beautiful. She did an acrylic series on MCR last year and, though the rest of the portraits are lovely, I kept going back to the Torosaurus one.
Her portrait of Ray is one you'll like to stare at for a long, long time. She's showing us how handsome and yet approachable Ray is. Everything from his pose to the choice of background colour works as a way to keep your eyes on Ray and his 'cupcake' brand of pretty. :)
