Why this piece is awesome: It's a very striking fanart set in an AU 'verse somewhere between steampunk and royalty. I really dig all the details (such as the pins on Gerard's leather jacket). His expression, a combination of cocky and flirty, goes really well with the bright hues of the piece.

I know I recced stuff by this artist some time ago but I completely missed this. Their work is a bit too pretty to really work for me but it's still very nice.

I actually dig the hyper-pretty overall look. FWIW, it's not a style that I usually like but the setting and Gerard's facial expression charmed me to no end. ^_^
