Why this piece is awesome: This is such a wonderfully atmospheric work. I love the way the beam of light illuminates Balin's tomb and lets us glimpse vague shapes elsewhere. And the tall pillars and what looks like writing or engravings on the walls add to the feeling of age and mystery.
