Why this piece is awesome: Bucky and Tony and their modified bodies. Had to rec these two pieces because I'm a sucker for symbolism and because I love how they are done - certainly NSFW for a reason, but due to the broad strokes there's also a fascinating softness to their bodies and I love the colours and both of their postures.

Oh wow those are excellent! They are certainly female-gazey but the poses make them vulnerable instead of pin-up. Bucky‘s head turned to the side, his arm sort of half hugging himself, Tony‘s hands over his heart.. wow. I am learning a lot from these poses.

Interesting observation! I too think the poses are quite intimate in a way, they aren't on display or striking a pose or anything. And given that Beir tagged the post with "hidden/chronic pain", it's also noteworthy that both of them are gripping the parts of their body that have to hurt. Also, apart from all that, I'm really fascinated by how well done the anatomy is, especially their arms. So glad you liked these, too.

I hadn‘t even looked at the tags but you are right! I interpreted their position as being protective but this would also fit.
