Why this piece is awesome: DarkKenjie has so much gorgeous art that it's hard to pick just one (definitely look through the entire gallery while you're there!), but I decided to choose this one because there's not a whole lot of good Azula art out there, and I loved everything about this -- the colors and composition and lighting and details, and especially the look on her face, which promises infinite retribution as soon as she solves her little problem here.

Why this piece is awesome: I really like the use of line and the Victorian feel of the pieces. This was for Pictures 2 Words on Livejournal where artists posted art prompts and authors used the inspiration to write stories, so there is an accompanying fic.

Why this piece is awesome: This picture makes me happy just looking at it. Seriously just look at Hound's blissed out little face! He's so happy wallowing in the mud. I really like the detail of the mud here as well, and how the tire marks make it clear that Hound's just roared up, transformed, and collapsed in one spot.

Why this piece is awesome:

It's the sense of scale in this pic which underlines how freakin' ginormous Prime really is that somehow adds to the hilarity. And it's such an awesome idea for a crossover – MiB serve Prime some papers. I love how utterly non-plussed Kay and Prime seem about the whole thing while Jay is doing the 'Giant Robot!' freakout.
