Why this piece is awesome: Let me start by saying that I don't even watch Slings & Arrows; I'm only aware of it because I'm Canadian and so I see the commercials.

But like me, you don't have to know a thing about the show in order to get into the snappy, smart, indie feel of this (mostly) black-and-white comic. The blobby dark spots, the effectiveness of the body language, the shot of colour cleverly placed -- all of the elements of this add up to something intriguing and instantly engaging, like you've known the characters all along. If you like Shakespeare, cynical misanthropes, and art with strong lines and no pretention, you're going to enjoy this comic,
