Why this piece is awesome: Her gallery is amazing and full of beautiful portraits. Lovely texture and light… she looks like she's just about to pop around the corner, and the light looks warm. I saw a comment on one of her portraits that said "How did this happen?" and yeah, I kind of want to say that about her whole gallery. O___O

Why this piece is awesome: I'm reccing The Professionals art this month, and it's mostly going to be the Bodie/Doyle slash pairing. So this portrait of Bodie and Doyle is to introduce the boys, as I'm not sure if people will remember them. It's a late seventies TV cop buddies show, hence the wonderfully retro hair and clothes. They work for C15 ("a fictional British law enforcement department, instructed by the home secretary to use any means to deal with crimes of a serious nature that go beyond the capacity of the police"). One nice thing about this fandom is that so much of the art's original. This is a very intense painting and I like its noir feel, being monochrome.
