Why this piece is awesome: More colourful chibis? Basically. This is a different style of chibi, so less an attempt at drawing them as kids but still with the characteristic giant eyes that supposedly nature has taught us to find adorable. (So we feed and shelter our babies, say the evolutionary scientists.) This artist's style has changed somewhat over time, as styles do, but the early, straightforward and bright drawings always make me smile.

Why this piece is awesome: Just squeaking in before January closes with this last one, as I especially like Doyle, and the artist draws very fluently with great likenesses. This isn't actually my favorite one from enednoviel's gallery (I prefer the "Sad Doyle" one that she's unsatisfied with for some reason) but I had to use this one (because, Hair!) to show that artists complaining about drawing John Sheppard's hair don't know how goddam lucky they are. Seventies hair - the fanartist's nightmare!

Why this piece is awesome: Reflectedeve is probably my favourite artists in bandom. She has a style all her own, clear and bold and strong. I love the contrasts between Pete and Patrick in this work and how the composition emphasise the conflict between the characters.
