Why this piece is awesome: This is my last rec for the month and it's a bit different from the things I've recced earlier. askpoison is an ongoing work of art. It started back in August 2011 and there's been over a hundred posts since then. It gives us glimpses from the life of Party Poison and his band of rebels, both telling a story and showing us their philosophy of life.

I absolutely love it and have done so from the beginning. The art is very expressive and has a style all its own. The content varies between making me laugh, making me think, and breaking my heart. I've always felt that it's one of the fanworks that's closest in spirit to what the band was trying to express with Danger Days.

If you haven't come across it before I recommend that you take the trouble and start at the beginning. It will take some time to get there - it's one of those irritating tumblrs that keeps unrolling whenever you hit the bottom of the page - but it's worth it. Looking at it in chronological order gets you a much deeper understanding of and appreciation for what the artist is doing.

Why this piece is awesome: So this is more than a little cheesecake-y? In case that's not your thing. But Emma is by definition kinda cheesecake-y, and I love how this piece is so casual about the skin while carrying Emma's typical body language of mild disdain. (If you are trying to place the style? Timm is most famous for his work on DCU animated series. Unless you're just familiar with his nudie pictures.)

Why this piece is awesome: I like the easy flow and movement, and the subject matter is great. White Collar fanart has a lot of works celebrating the gorgeousness of Neal, so to have a pic where Diana steals a girl from Neal is excellent. I like Diana and the other woman's eye contact, and that Diana's also stolen Neal's hat. She looks very hot in it , too.
