Why this piece is awesome: Love the use of the colors here, and the contrast. This is more Black Widow than Natasha, I think.

Why this piece is awesome: This piece is done in a bold comic style, with heavy black outlines and large flat areas of color, but conveys nicely nuanced feeling and some great character work in Jeff's and Shirley's expressions. I love the inclusion of the medallion with young!Jeff and young!Shirley in the background, with its paler colors and mirrored pose. The piece explicitly refers to one of my favorite episodes in the series, but even without that background, I think the story elements of it are very strong. I interpret this as a portrayal of their friendship, rather than romance, but I think it can be read either way.

Why this piece is awesome: It's a great take on the Killjoys' AU: robot!Party Poison. Also, even though he's broken (missing part of his left arm), he's still ready to take on BL/ind. I like the creepier aspects of this version of Party Poison. After all, escaping Battery City must have messed a few of his circuits.

Why this piece is awesome: This is an adorable installment from a series of posts in which the artist speculates that Iroh II might be an airbender (before his bending status was confirmed in canon - so now it's AU). All the installments are well worth looking at, but this one is my favorite because it's so sweet (awww Zuko!), and there's also a little story to go with it! (All the posts in the artist's airbender!Iroh AU can be found under this tag.)
