Why this piece is awesome: I enjoy the casualness of this piece. It's very relaxed and normal. The fabric drawing of the Middleman's coat is awesome. I think the artist captured both characters expressions well.

Why this piece is awesome: Black Parade era!Gerard and Ray share a laugh and, though we have no idea what they're grinning about, the general vibe of the piece is very warm. It also gets tons of bonus points for how stylish both guys look. :)

Artist on DW/LJ: twirlynoode @ LJ
Artist Website/Gallery: Tealin's Discworld/Pratchett Fanart
Why this piece is awesome: I love the swirl of the snow and the eerily menacing way the Wintersmith is formed-yet-unformed, in the same way in the book he tries to be human but doesn't succeed. It's a very cold-looking picture that I think does a good job of catching the diffuse way light looks on snow. And menacing, did I mention the menace?
