Why this piece is awesome: This is such a cool idea to redraw an old piece of art. I love seeing the difference in the two versions. Both of them are really awesome but the new one just takes my breath away! I love this artist's style - it truly amazes me! It's like she's taken Harry and Draco in my mind and drawn them perfectly! <3 Also, YAY pillowfight! and HIPBONES!

Why this piece is awesome: I'm very fond of this one - again from the Artword challenge. It's irresistable - the team as the Pegasus Gang - in a Wild West AU, as bank robbers! There are two artworks for this collaboration - scroll down for the one featuring Kolya. I love the first one in particular - the gorgeous sepia brown, the dusty quality of the light with the sun shining through, John's fierce badass expression, even through his mask. The collaboration was with sheafrotherdon who wrote the fic. It sounds like an interesting process, with artist and writer riffing off each other for the finished works.

Why this piece is awesome: I really love the Educated Rodents, and these illustrations of Dangerous Beans, Peaches, and Darktan are small and adorable, and suit them well. They look so happy, like they've just had good stomach rubs. The ink lines for their fur, whiskers, and tails are very stylized, and remind me of Tarot illustrations.
