Why this piece is awesome: I'm so so so not a dark!content kind of person so I must admit I've not been planning to follow the Merlin Horror fest, but after this art I may be inclined to check it out to see if there are any other delights. I absolutely adore

mushroomtale and her art never disappoints. ♥ This was absolutely no exception! The composition of the piece is unique and well thought out. The color scheme is perfectly gruesome to suit the content. The entire thing from Merlin's unseeing eyes to the brokeness of Arthur's body language is amazing and powerful and so gorgeous despite the warnings and heartwrenching content.
Of course in my mind I've created a scenario where this actually ends happily... but that's just me :D you will of course have to decide for yourself.
