Why this piece is awesome: Striking framing, lovely shading on the pencils. The colored version loses some of the delicacy, but isn't awkward for it; it's blended beautifully and the effects of the added darkness are striking.

Why this piece is awesome: Irishgirl982 is a very well-known artist in the Harry Potter fandom, and this is a brilliant example as to why. Her colors are vivid; her linework is strong. The expressions and emotions she manages to put into a single piece are astounding. I had to flip a coin to decide which of her Dramione works I would recommend. XD I love this one in particular for the look of teasing on Draco's face and the amused disgust on Hermione's. Not to mention Draco's undone tie. Ties in fanart? Always, always a plus for me.

I am all squeeful at it's utter perfection!
I love the soft coloring style. Great lighting and shadow effects in the first panel and poor Merlin looks like a drowned rat XD The second is so sweet and romantic and their toes are so cute!
The story is told absolutely perfectly! I'm torn between wanting more and being completely satisfied by what's here! I could stare all day and still find new things to focus on <3
