Why this piece is awesome: Probably inspired by the fact that we're only 4 days into the new year, I couldn't think of a more fitting rec than this beautiful piece. Especially since the last chapter to the Killjoys saga has just come to a close.
I really love the use of orange: it makes the Californian desert setting look almost incandescent. The Girl's power stance, the fact that she's ready for battle, is palpable even though she's facing away from us. It's a piece that sums up a lot of what the Killjoys 'verse is about (down to Party Poison's raygun) and, like the artist, I can't help the rush of feelings whenever I've looked at this fanart.
