Why this piece is awesome: The artist draws lots of lovely Joan and Sherlock portraits. This is a great dual example, with the characters' facial features distilled down into a strong but casual style. And though it may seem like a small thing, I always notice and appreciate when artists actually put in the effort towards drawing Joan as a woman of Asian descent, and not just a random, dark-haired OC.

Why this piece is awesome: A gorg, photorealistic, and quietly moody portrait of Joan. Joan Watson's fabulous wardrobe is one of my favourite things about the show so I especially love the coat, which injects a lot of character into the piece. Last but not least, great digital texture.
