Why this piece is awesome: So pretty!

ataratah's style is so flowy and graceful, always, and I love the way the coloring works out here (very watercolor-esque). The premise is also super cute; I love the various characters' notes and chatter. (Admittedly, I'm a little biased there, but she took the idea and ran with it!) Once again, the whole series is worth a look!

Why this piece is awesome: I warned you we'd be returning to the giant lizardy things at some point in this fandom, so here we are, almost at month's end and starting some Kaiju pics. Not exactly giant lizards as Kaiju are more alien than that, but monsters, anyway. I love the dramatic composition in this one, the weird and somehow threatening colour scheme, and the detailing of the sea in particular. Click to enlarge, for the full effect.
